oh yeah, well my kielbasa kicks your pierogi’s ass.
there’s a war between Polish Village Cafe(PVC) and Polonia Restaurant in Hamtramck.
I’m at Polonia every saturday. Waitresses are always very nice and perfect in every detail. But in PVC- dirty restaurant waitresses are unpleasant. Their food is from cans. Mashed potatoes are instant.
[I] can only say good things about Polish Village. The food is good, and authentic and fresh. Polonia (next door) is no comparision. Polonia makes the kielbasa in the garage which is next to an alley where ro-dents live, which leaves much to wonder about the quality and safety.
where is this war being fought, you ask?
why, citysearch reviews, of course.

Hmmm….this seems to boil down to a challenge between “Food From Cans” and “Chance of Rodent-infested Sausage.” I don’t know which one to chose…

oh, it gets better…
“95% food at Polish Village is from cans. The quality their food is terrible. This is stiking restaurant!!! But Polonia don’t have a garage!!! You are so funny and stupid. At Polonia is first quality food. There is the best fresh sauasage. I’m from Poland. And I know which food is authentic polish.”
countered by:
“Polonia is no good. Don’t recomend to anyone. Outside street is filthy! Liter. Kielbasa has bones in it. If you go early, you will get food from the night before because they are not busy, and close early.”
apparently the commenters are the owners/managers of the restaurants…
which is awesome.
i like reading them while thinking of a polish accent.

Maya has decided that in addition to visiting Minot ND as soon as possible, she wants to eat at both of these locations. (She blames the evil FB for making her write in the third person).

Polonia is much better than Polish Village Cafe. Waitresses are nice & beatuiful. But Polish Cafe’s prices are lower than at Polonia (about $2-$3).
