Oh, well, you’re going to love this:

ROMNEY: I am glad [detainees] are at Guantanamo. I don’t want them on our soil. I want them on Guantanamo, where they don’t get the access to lawyers they get when they’re on our soil. I don’t want them in our prisons, I want them there. Some people have said we ought to close Guantanamo. My view is we ought to double Guantanamo.

You can look at how everybody else who has taken the tests does in terms of candidates that most closely reflect their views.
    http://www.dehp.net/candidate/stats.php

If we look at these results, over 58% of the respondents have Dennis as their first match. This is from all declared candidates whether Democrat or Republican — to me the implication is that Dennis’s views are the mainstream views of America.

When surveying all blogs left wing or right wing — I found that it seemed to match respondent preferences very well. The only dissonance came from people who matched Kucinich. Many of them were flabbergasted — they just could not believe that their views could match those of one who has been touted as a non entity and a “Raving Lunatic Liberal” by the “Mainstream Media” Many of these did state that they would now consider him — but many were still enthralled by the media view that Kucinich would never win — and therefore they would not consider voting for him.

Also if you add in the people who along with Kucinich, had Gravel and Ron Paul as first choices, the percentage of respondents jumps to 72.67%

It is therefore quite obvious, that the candidates touted by the mainstream media do not to a large extent represent the views of the general American public.

As an aside, the pages were developed by a marine who is a high school graduate, and stationed in Afghanistan. He was not a Kucinich supporter, and was very surprised with his own matches. He is now considering, and looking at Dennis.
